This is our 8th year of our scholarship program. Eligible applicants included high school seniors whose parents/legal guardians are active members. Since one of our 7 founding principles is Commitment to Community, these scholarships represent a small part of that commitment. As such, one of the criteria for the award is an emphasis on community involvements the student has made or realized in their life. Other criteria for the scholarship included an investment of time in school activities. The Judging panel consisted of electric cooperative leaders from across the state who uphold the same values we do. They reviewed 33 applications in 2025.
1 Winner of the Thomas H Moore Illinois Electric Cooperatives (IEC) Memorial Scholarship
