Irrigations

Irrigation Systems

Irrigation systems are a vital part of agriculture in Cass, Mason and Tazewell Counties. We have invested a heavy backbone of three-phase service into the area and have worked closely with irrigators to provide quality service that benefits both the irrigator and the entire electric cooperative.

3 Irrigation Rate Options

Please call 800-872-1203 or email System Engineer Dustin Crosier at dcrosier@menard.com to discuss your rate.

Rate 50 - Base Non-interruptible Rate; highest Facility and Demand Charge rates.

The member may irrigate with no restrictions.

Rate 51 – Hybrid Interruptible Rate with Override option; lowest Facility Charge rate, with hybrid Demand Charge rate based on member operations.

Utilizes a member’s web-based remote-managed application with any of these approved vendors: AgSense, FieldNet, FieldWise or ReinCloud. The member and application vendor are obligated to enter into a three-party agreement with the Co-op, which provides us the ability to load control each pivot using the application. Member has the option to opt-out of load control events through the application for convenience and be charged a higher Demand Charge rate during the opt-out month.

Rate 52 - Interruptible Rate with No Override option.

Utilizes a load control device installed and maintained by the Co-op.  Member does not have the option to opt-out of load control events for convenience.
