2024 Sharing Success Donations Presented

2024 Sharing Success donations have been presented!

We partner with CoBank, who matches donations to community service organizations selected by our Board of Directors. Donations were presented for Athens Area Food Pantry, Distress Bandanna Teen Driver Safety Initiative, Havana Park District and Oakford Fire Protection District. 

TOP LEFT: Havana Park District. The $1,700 donation will purchase cement cornhole boards for the Rice Park revitalization. Pictured are Anabelle Burgett, MEC Director D. Jay Frye & Manager Alisha Anker, Debbie Hagney, Mike Hagney, Grace Mott and April Burgett.

TOP RIGHT: Athens Area Food Pantry. The $5,000 donation will purchase supplies for income eligible residents in Athens School District. LOWER RIGHT: Oakford Fire Protection District. The $11,300 donation will purchase a generator to create an emergency heat/cool station in the event of severe weather.
