We are returning approximately 809,000 in Capital Credits to members who purchased electricity in 1996, 1997 and/or 1998.
Because we are non-profit and member owned any margins we earn each year are allocated back to our members. We call them Capital Credits.
When the co-op's financial condition permits, the Board of Directors determines a retirement/payment of Capital Credits back to the membership.
Active members with a Capital Credit refund less than $100.00 will see their credit applied to the July 7th bill.
Members with a credit over $100.00, or who no longer have active service with us, will receive a check in July.
To notify us of an address correction, or that the payee is deceased, please fill out and return the form included with the check.
If you receive a check at your address made out to another individual please mark it return to sender and send back to us so we may update our records and find the correct address for that person. If we receive a check back for an incorrect address and are unable to locate the member we publish those names each year on our Capital Credits page.
