Proposed Resolution for Annual Meeting

General Manager Eric Hobbie will speak about a proposed resolution regarding the cooperative's debt ceiling limit at this year's annual meeting of members. Members will vote on this matter at the meeting. Hobbie has prepared a power point slide presentation to go along with his discussion to members. The slides are available here to help answer any questions you may have about the resolution. We encourage you to come to the annual meeting and hear Hobbie speak about the matter. Meeting with State Representatives

Menard Electric Cooperative's Manager Eric Hobbie recently met with two new State Representatives. The brief meetings were held to introduce the new representatives to cooperative leaders and to the unique challenges faced by the electric cooperatives and their memberships.

Director Petitions Available Now

Nominating Petitions due April 20

 Petitions are available now at the office for directors in districts 1, 4 and 6 on the Board of Directors of Menard Electric Cooperative. Petitions must be signed by no less than 10 members and must be received in the co-op’s office by 4:30 p.m. on April 20.

Two students could win the trip of a lifetime to Washington D.C.

Youth Tour is June 10-17, 2016 - a trip to Washington, D.C.

Youth Day is April 13, 2016 - a trip to our state capital.

Applicants must be a junior in high school, live with a parent/guardian who is an active member of Menard Electric, and be able to attend both events.

Member Survey

The Illinois Electric Cooperatives are conducting a member satisfaction survey. Random members throughout the state will be receiving the survey questionnaires. SDS Research is conducting the survey on behalf of the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives. As a Menard Electric Co-op member you may receive a survey. If you do, it's a legitimate request, so please take the time to complete it. We'll receive the information from our membership and that feedback will play an important role in improving service to our membership. Thank you!
